Who we’re looking for:

• Good people and communication skills, digitally and in person.
• A person who is passionate about environmentalism and community based actions.
• Someone is motivated and willing to donate their time for free and work with us who are also volunteers.
• Someone who believes in the Library of things concept and wants to help it succeed.
• A person with experience in start-ups and the setting up and running of a CIC is desirable but not essential.
• A person with business and marketing experience.
• Social media proficiency and understanding of how to spread information on social media.
• Experience using Adobe CC packages to create design visuals is desirable. 
• Knowledge of accounting and tax within business structures is desirable but not essential. 

Technical information:

Time requirements: The role would need approximately 5 hours a week of time and would be completely flexible. You wouldn’t necessarily need to come to in person meetings or to the library itself when you were working. 

Compensation: We cannot offer compensation but it goes without saying you'd be able to use the library as much as you wanted no matter where you live and borrowing and membership would be free. We will pay for your training to become an electrical PAT tester if necessary. If parts need to be purchased to fix items, please provide receipts and you will be reimbursed the cost of these parts. 

Location: Ideally we are looking for someone in LS6 as we would like to build locally community connections and reduce the carbon footprint travelling to volunteering. However, we'll happily welcome help from anyone in Leeds.
