Leeds Community Healthcare Charity
Who are we?
We are the charity for the Leeds Community Healthcare NHS Trust and we provide charitable funds to projects that enhance the experiences of patients in the communities we serve. We support staff to provide the best possible care for our service users - our aim is not to fund patient care, but to enhance and improve it by providing grants to projects that are over and above government funding. Leeds Community Healthcare Charity can make a difference by investing in new equipment; improving patient environments; or providing additional support for staff training.
Doing our best for Leeds
Leeds Community Healthcare Trust provide NHS community healthcare services in Leeds and in some specialist cases beyond. We deliver care in or close to people's homes and our 3,000 strong staff includes nurses, therapists, pharmacists, non-registered and registered teams. Often working in partnership with other parts of the NHS, social care providers, criminal justice systems and the voluntary sector, our aim is to provide the best possible care in every community, and we share the ambition for Leeds to be the best city for health and well-being.
How can you help?
- Fundraising for us! There are many ways you can do this from planning your own event to taking part in organised events such as the Leeds Half Marathon and collecting sponsorship.
- Volunteering with us! Do you have skills that you can share with us? Do you need experience to add to your CV? We often need volunteers to man stalls, marshal at events or share specialist skills such as photograpghy and videography.
We'd love you to get in touch with your ideas and will support you as you support us. Contact
