I am requesting that the £25 joining offer for students to access the campus gyms and sports facilities for 4 months between September to December be renewed for January to the end of term in 2021. 

There are several benefits for this low-cost student membership:

- Affordable access for all students

- Encourages them to stay active and get out the house during lockdown

- Fitness is important for individual health and wellbeing

- Find a passion for a new sport and potentially join a team

Therefore, I believe it would be a great idea to renew this memberhip offer in the new year especially for students who may have New Years Resolutions to improve their personal health and wellbeing!
