As a commuter student, I allow 15/ 20 minutes on top of my travels in order to find parking. In doing this, I still often find that I am late to lectures and seminars due to insufficient parking.

I live 18 miles away from the Headingley campus and have found that most roads surrounding the campus are permit parking only.

I feel that there should be more parking for students that commute, more specifically those students that aren't within walking distance eg. they live outside of a five mile radius of the campus. This may open up more parking for the student that require parking.
