I would like to propose a disabled hub similar to that in the rose bowl for general enquires. This is so that disabled students have somewhere to go and speak to someone whether this be for a chat or advice. It would also mean there would be rooms in the university specific to their use, currently there is no rooms and it changes everytime you have an appointment. I know students have liked this idea as it would mean a more visable approach = more of a community. I know as a first year I would've really benefitted from knowing there is somewhere to go and feel supported.
I would also like to suggest that the hub is student led (with training), this would allow for more volunteering positions/jobs within the SU and could also lead to placements as I know some courses would benefit from this.
Thanks!

Love this idea!
Thank you for all the support! :)
Something like this would be fantastic!!
Although I am not based in the uni I do agree going to the same place is much more comforting than having to find a new place to go to
This would be absolutely fantastic and an amazing resource
