The Disability Advice department at Leeds Beckett is absolutely fantastic and has helped me with many things. However, many members of my faculty are completely oblivious and ableist, so they often create problems that should be mitigated by my Reasonable Adjustment Plan and Disability Advice has to intervene to fix the issue. It would be wonderful if my faculty staff had been trained on the importance of these things and Disability Advice didn't have to keep coming in to rescue me from easily-preventable stressors, and I'm sure I'm not the only one with this problem.
